The road

All in the background, tiring, full, and black. The sunroof cracked, and the sounds of music and talk radio coming in from all sides. I look over and see people singing to tunes, yelling at the cars around them, and whipping past. The day is late, and it is stop and go. Sun in your eyes, and thinking about the day. Wondering, should I have taken the train today? All the while thinking of home. This is why you are on the road. It's for the person you love, the life we build, and down the road is the life you live.
