I think I'm going to draw a whole fish inspired series. My life goal is to open a store that sells aquatic plants, and to live off the grid as much as possible. I'm not sure how I'm going to do this yet, but I can see that future in my head. The idea is to produce my power with solar and hydrogen. Also, if Peter and I have enough land to grow at least some of our food we would be healthier, and we would help the environment by relying on grocery stores that have ship food into the city.
It is a lofty goal, but I think it is within reach. Just consider a future that you could produce hydrogen with the help of solar power. That hydrogen would, in turn, power your car that would now produce no pollution from the tail pipe. You could also use excess hydrogen to power your home, along with your solar panels. With that you wouldn't have to pay for gas, or electricity, and if you have a little land you could decrease you food bill. In my opinion we are all going to have to live this way, so why not start now. I feel as long as I keep dreaming it will come true. So, I'm sending this dream out into the universe today. I love to hear from you. Let me know what you think. Please give me your comments down below.

Well, I did it!! I put a bird on it. Its my first drawing in a while. Last weekend I bought a new sketch book, and there has been a lot of inspiration running through my head. I'm going to have new drawings on a regular basis. Come back often to see more. Oh, and buy a t-shirt.
Hello everyone. Do you like popcorn? Check out my new popcorn bag. I call it Pop Art. I also have a new lunch tote with the same image. Go to the store on my site, and they will be right at the top. I think they are really fun. What do you think? Just post a comment on my blog. Happy shopping, and remember to come back often to see new product. I'm getting new ideas all the time.
I just downloaded the weebly ap for iPhone. Now I will be able to update my blog from anywhere. So far so good. I will have to see how I like it.
Iv'e been doing some small updates to my website. Little by little It's getting better. Lately I've been more consumed with the store portion of my site, but I'm going to be adding more to my portfolio as well. I'm hoping I will start to get some interest from potential employers even though I'm currently employed. I need a bit more of a challenge. So, if anyone knows of a company in need of a prepress professional with a eye for design and the ability to do illustration I'm the person for them.
On the store side I'm still looking for feedback on the products I offer. What do you think? Do you like them? do you hate them? Would you like to see other items? I have new designs on my site for sale. Come check out fun goldfish, and cool motorcycles. Also, I have a new surreal Portland skyline products. Let me know what you think on my blog.
This weekend Peter and went to the Bamboo Gardens out in North Plains. They have 20 acres of bamboo, and over 100 varieties for sale. Even though we don't own a home right now, it keeps that dream alive. Also, we were able to find all of the types of bamboo we used to have at our Fairview home, and it is giving us great ideas for landscapes when we are ready to buy again. We had a great time wondering round the property. What a great day!
When we were done there, it was after lunch time so we decided to stop on the way home in the Hollywood district, and go to Killer Burger. Wow! Great food. They were a little expensive, but we had one of the greatest burgers that we have ever tasted. If you don't like heavy metal music you might want to have your burgers to go. It was very loud. Look it up it's at 47th and Sandy. After our bellies were all full we decided to go into The Wet Spot aquarium shop. I haven't ever gone in there. Also a very good experience. They had a really great selection of product, and I just love to look at fish and get ideas. Very fun day! In fact, I think it was just about the most perfect day I could have. Thank you Peter for doing it with me. This weekend Peter and I went to the Garden, Yard and Patio show. I can't wait until we can incorporate some of the ideas into our future property. The show helped me to visualize our near future life. I can see ourselves entertaining friends and family, and all of the people in our life that has made it worth living.
I'm going to start writing a regular conversation about whats going on in my life. As some of you know, I've started to sell some of my artwork on CafePress.com. I will offer items like t-shirts, mugs, glasses, bags, and there is the possibility of a larger selection if there is the demand. Let me know what type of images and products you would like to see. I will try to update the items for sale often. New items will come as I produce new artwork. The plan is to draw most of the artwork by hand, but I might have some computer generated art as well. Come to just0indesign.com and click on store.
