I've started a new drawing of a Clown Loach tonight. This one will be a fun one to do. The Clown Loach is one of my favorite fish, and I have almost always had one incorporated in my fish tanks. They are cute fish that are orange in color with black stripes. Also, they have an unusual habit of squeezing into the smallest places that you could imagine, and staying there for long periods of time. There have been many time when I thought they had jumped out of the tank when they have just been hiding. Even though they are very passive and avoid confrontation, they have a very effective way of defending themselves with razor sharp spikes in grooves below the eyes. They are extremely fast as well, making it very hard to catch them.
I think I will be able to finish it in the next couple of days. I will upload an image as soon as I'm done. If I don't get it done this week, I will have to finish it next week because Peter and I will be going up to Seattle this weekend. After I'm done I have about five or six more fish planned for the series. This has been the best creative outlet I've had in a long time. My spirits just soar every time I work on a drawing. As always, thanks for following my efforts. Leave a comment on my blog. I love hearing from you.
